Pre School
This room was designed to accommodate three to five year old’s.
Our aim in the pre-school is to ensure that all children are confident learners and have all the skills and knowledge needed for their transition to primary school.
This is acheived by the staff in pre-school setting more challenging activities in early numeracy and literacy skills whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage and as the children have started to gain their independence there is 1 member of staff for every 8 children.
The children are taught in small groups using the indoor environment and outdoor classroom.
Each year a “graduation” ceremony is held to celebrate the children’s achievements whilst they have been at nursery.
